DigitalES maintains strong relationships with the different actors in the public sector, including administrations and regional entities, as well as civil society.

  • We anticipate regulatory changes that may affect our associates, so that they can adapt successfully.

  • We promote our voice in the public agenda and promote policies that benefit the business sector.

  • We propose dialogue and public-private collaboration to build a more favorable environment for investment and business activity.

  • Through FORO CONECTA, we work to promote, defend and provide institutional support for the deployment and consolidation of mobile electronic communications networks and their associated resources.

Regulation and taxation

We work in the elaboration of position papers, amendment proposals, regulatory analysis, briefing notes, answers to consultations and public hearings.

We advocate a fair and equitable tax system for a hyper-regulated sector and promote fiscal policies that encourage innovation, investment and growth.

Digital environment regulation

We address the regulatory aspects related to digitalization and new technologies and their development forecasts, in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data, privacy, data protection or digital rights, among others.

Digital content

We advocate for a sensible and competitive regulatory environment that respects the protection of citizens’ rights. We promote sector-wide agreements for the development of a more robust digital content sector in our country.

In defense of the rights of minors on the Internet

We support the call for a State Pact to protect minors and adolescents on the Internet and social networks, as proposed by six civil society organizations: the European Association for Digital Transition (AETD), Save The Children, ANAR Foundation, iCMedia, Dale Una Vuelta and Unicef.
