Digital transformation is one of the cornerstones of economic and geopolitical development in Latin America. This was the consensus that marked the Digital Summit Latam 2026, organized by CCLatam and DPL Group, which brought together regulators, ministers, multilateral organizations and industry leaders in Madrid to discuss the strategic challenges of the digital agenda towards the end of the decade.

Our CEO Miguel Sánchez Galindo was part of the panel “Investment and public policies for innovation”, where he highlighted the need for regulatory and fiscal reforms to ensure the viability of investments in digital infrastructure.

Together with representatives of the telecommunications sector from Colombia, Brazil and Chile, the CEO of DigtialES shared the European experience, where the industry is facing a “significant deregulation” process, and highlighted the success of the public-private partnership model in Europe.
